- The block manufacturing facility of Kansas Brick & Tile Co. (what will become Kansas Building Products) is built at 1600 South Hoover in Wichita.

- Monarch Cement Company, based in Humboldt, Kansas, purchases Kansas Brick & Tile and creates Kansas Building Products.

- Kansas Building Products installs a new block machine at its facility.

2015
- Production is stopped at Kansas Building Products, and production of all materials is moved to Salina Concrete Products.

2019
- Production is moved from Salina back to Kansas Building Products, and the block machine purchased in 1972 is given a complete modern update.
- Salina Concrete Products officially closes on Dec. 31.
